Make An Appointment

To ask a question, make an enquiry or book an appointment, contact our specialist team who are available between Monday – Friday 8am – 6pm and on Saturday from 9.00am to 2.00pm. Our stroke unit team have a dedicated and caring approach and will seek to find you the earliest appointment possible with the correct specialist for your needs.

If you are self-paying you don’t need a referral from your GP. You can simply refer yourself and book an appointment.

If you have medical insurance (e.g. Bupa, Axa PPP, Aviva), you will need to contact your insurer to get authorisation for any treatment and, in most cases, you will require a referral letter from your GP.

If you do not have a GP, then we have an in-house private GP practice that you can use. Alternatively we can suggest the most appropriate course of action for you to take, given your location and individual circumstance.

We offer a Domiciliary Neuro Therapy Service from the Hospital of St John & St Elizabeth, which is available to patients living within a 3 mile radius of St Johns Wood. Recent developments will allow us to dedicate more staff to Domiciliary Services and we aim to build this therapy, offering more patients the benefits of being assessed and treated in their own home.

A team of highly skilled senior physiotherapists, occupational therapists and speech and language therapists will work with patients to achieve their goals. Therapists will be able to identify difficulties patients may be experiencing within their home as well any issues with accessing the community environment. Through liaison with other multi-disciplinary teams the community-based therapists can facilitate a successful discharge from hospital or prevent admission or readmission.
